So, maybe this is what the"Real World" feels like. Busy, Busy, Busy!! We have been so unbelievably busy these last two weeks. Between volleyball, teaching, taking classes, and Matt's job we get to see eachother for about three hours every night. We have just enough time to eat dinner and watch Scrubs (thats our new favorite TV show). We have been recording all the episodes that come on with our awesome DVR. I love it!! I don't even remember the last time I watched live TV.

School is going good. I am really enjoying the classes that I am taking (Research Methods, Advanced Principles of Learning, and Christian Ethics in Education). I love the fact that I only meet once a week for the classes, they are more specialized, and more interesting! I say all those things now but by the end of the semster I might be completely burned out. I am also really enjoying the classes that I'm teaching. They aren't hard classes to teach but I am having a great time. It a wonderful feelilng to be happy with what I am doing and to know we made the right decision about staying in Arkansas.

This past weekend the volleyball team played at Christian Brothers in Memphis. They played really well. I am so proud :). My picture is on the website. You should probably check it out. http://www.hardingsports.com/sidebar.asp?id=381&path=vball

This weekend Matt and I are taking a road trip accross Arkansas and Texas. We are first going to Denton on Friday for a volleyball tournament, then driving to Amarillo for my Dad's wedding, and then back to Searcy. Whoo. It's going to be a long weekend.

I dont have any pictures to post. So, here is a random picture of my husband getting ready for a hard day at work>

I didn't know that I could add a video to our blog!

August is here!

August is here! The girls on the volleyball team are now arriving, the heat index is over 100, and the anxiety of school is starting to set in. I am so excited about everything that is about to start!!
We had an action packed weekend. Friday we didn't do much, but Saturday morning we went to the river and fished. We had a great time even though we didn't know what we were doing. The only time we saw a fish was when it was on the end of someone else's pole. The spot we fished at was wonderful. The river is called the Little Red River and is located in Pangburn Arkansas (a.k.a Redneck USA). It was about a 20 minute drive and it was worth every minute. The water was about 50 degrees. We could walk out in the water about 4 or 5 feet and cast from there. It kept us cool.

Here are a few pictures

Matt getting ready to fish...

Just incase you didnt know what a redneck looksw like here is this picture. You can't see it from this picture but his behind is actually hanginig out of the top of his pants and he isnt wearing shoes. Homeboy made him self at home right infront of where we were trying to fish.

Sunday afternoon we gave the disc golf course a try. It was fun but Matt kicked my butt and it was really hot.

I also got my Arkansas driver's licence with my new last name on it! The whole situation was very bitter sweet. I was very excited to have it with my new last name on it but the lady wouldn't give me back my Texas licence :(. To top it all off my hair is messed up on the side. Why wouldn't the lady just tell me that it looks like I have a bird's nest stickinig out of my head. I find that very rude.

Have a good week!
